An Open Door Church Ministries (AODC) is a non-denominational church. Our mission is reaching to reach the world for Jesus Christ and teaching the Body of Christ how to effectively apply God's principles to have victory in every area of life. AODC is a place where people can come to learn to use the Word of God as the Covenant of God, thus building a relationship with God, and not just being religious.
Pastors Meredith & Marilyn have led An Open Door Church since 1986. With their leadership we have seen an abundance of blessings throughout the AODC congregation. We have a passion for people of all age, race, and walks of life to become followers of Christ.

History
On July 6, 1986 Pastor Meredith and Marilyn Shackelford from House of Prayer Church of God in Christ in Chicago, Illinois was called to preach and start an organization name An Open Door Church (AODC). As a result, 7 people met in the basement of Meredith and Marilyn's home where AODC began. For over 30 years, the ministry has continue flourish and grow.
